|Description:||Mc Swiggans Restaurant & Cafe Bar 3 Eyre Street, Wood Quay, Galway is currently recruiting for a Chef-de-Partie.
The successful candidate will be responsible for mise en place and service in our restaurant.
Experience in restaurant/bar food/ is needed for this position. Western style brasserie type ala carte food service experience needed.
Minimum 2 years chef de partie experience needed.
The candidate should be passionate about food, have strong communication skills, willingness to learn and develop own skills and also a good level of experience at the fine food level.
Other requirements include:
• Professional Cookery qualification/catering education
• Full Chef de Partie experience in fine dining environment
• Experience working on main courses.
• Food Hygiene training/experience.
Duties will involve cooking food to order. Working on different sections of the kitchen. Helping the Head and Sous chefs during service. Helping with kitchen health & hygiene.
This position is a full time permanent position.
39 hours per week.
Euro 30,000 per annum salary.
