|Description:||Sous Chef required to join the kitchen team of OHehirs, Sligo, full time position.
Full time permanent position.
39 hours per week.
Applicants must be experienced at Sous Chef level.
5 years experience needed.
Must be able to work in a busy kitchen environment with a high production output.
Must be fully qualified in commercial/professional cookery practices.
Ability to manage and train staff needed.
Position will be at our commercial kitchen, OHehirs, Unit 8, Cleveragh Business Park, Sligo.
Dishes cooked and produced include: Soups, Salads, Pies, Quiches, full meals and other savoury dishes.
Duties and responsibilities will include:
Working on menus with the executive chef and owner for the group cafes.
Making sure food is of the right quality and is produced on time.
Managing stock and dealing with suppliers.
Managing the ingredients and training chefs in recipes.
Helping in the management of kitchen health and hygiene procedures
Cooking food to order
Salary per annum 35,000 Euro
