Requirements:
Full driving licence
Restaurant/Food Management Experience
Experience to minimum supervisory level
Work references
Flexible availability (this is not a 9 to 5 job)
Other requirements:
HACCP a bonus but not necessary
Events experience to supervisory level
The job:
You will oversee the smooth running of the mobile the food/catering truck at nationwide events. Mainly Leinster area.
You will have free access to all events being catered for, IE. Electric Picnic, Forbidden Fruit, Life Festival etc, as well as rugby matches, sports events, college events, music concerts etc.
Why you need to be flexible: you will be required to stay over (expenses paid) at these events while the catering is going on for them.
This is not a 9 to 5 job. It is not a set timetable. You go where the event is. Your job is to supervise the catering staff, the food van, and work with the overall events manager to make sure the smooth running of the catering operation.
You are fully responsible for the food van (you do not have to drive it. It has its own driver). You are responsible for the staff working in it, its up keep, and to make sure it is operational.
You will drive a company supplied special sprinter van.
This is a mobile job with a head office in Dublin and Belfast. You will work between the two.
